Not to sound like a couple of megalomaniacs, but there was a bit of “creationist theory” at work when we came up with the concept of WhoWhatWearDaily.com. The idea was to establish a place where we could address the big fashion trends as a whole and showcase one-off outfits that articulate smaller style moments. As of late, we keep finding our gaze drawn to a pair of alluring blue eyes and an innocently infectious smile—both of which are property of the sublime Clemence Poesy. We’re not the only ones with appreciative glances. Long convinced of Alber Elbaz’s genius, we ever nevertheless stunned by the spring collection he created for Lanvin. It’s one of the season’s best, and to say he outdid himself is understatement, as nearly every look that came down the runway improved upon its predecessor. There were so many things to love: heavenly draping, gorgeously glitzy statement necklaces and belts, and saturated colors like teal and electric yellow.
